About Memship
Open-source membership management for member-based organizations.
Our mission
Memship gives associations and clubs a modern, self-hosted way to manage their members, activities, and payments, without recurring per-member fees and without handing member data to a third-party vendor.
It is built for organizations of hundreds to a few thousand members, run by volunteers or small staff, primarily in Spain and the wider EU but relevant anywhere. You own the server, you own the data.
The project is open source and under active development. Feedback, issues, and contributions are welcome on GitHub.

Your members belong to you, not to a SaaS vendor. Memship is single-tenant and self-hosted, so member data stays on your own server.

Maintainers
We build Memship in our own time, as the tool we think small and medium entities should have had years ago. It is open source, free to run, and it stays that way. No club should lose or shrink an opportunity because its management software cannot keep up: entities evolve, and the software should answer to them rather than the other way round. If the project finds its audience we would also like to make a living adapting and extending it for entities that want that, and providing technical support where it is needed.

I started Memship after watching the clubs and academies my children attend run on spreadsheets, with no affordable option built for entities their size, and the few that exist closed to any change they might need. I do not think an entity should have to hand its members' data to a vendor to get decent software, so Memship works the other way round: you run it, you own the data.

I joined Memship to expand what it does, starting with CrossFit and Cross Training clubs, whose sign-ups, class booking and payment routines differ enough from a general association to deserve proper support rather than a workaround.
